πŸ”Ž Some hints on finding data

For the country-analysis poster you will need data on your selected country or region. A few pointers:

  • Students are provided with Python snippets for the environmentally-augmented input-output table EXIOBASE3; you can use other data sources but need to analyze them on your own.
  • EXIOBASE contains data for the following countries: Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Mexico, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, and the Wallis and Futuna Islands.
  • You can substitute some aspect of the country analysis after consulting the examiners (e.g., substituting the carbon-leakage analysis, if no data is available for this country, by a political analysis of external pressures).
